The Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship offered annually by the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces to talented Bruneians with highly valued attributes. Each year, a chosen few are offered the opportunity to a sterling undergraduate education at some of the world's best and most renowned universities.
Together with a first class education and a systematic grooming process which spans throughout their scholar and working career, the scholarship will be presenting scholars of high calibre as Brunei's next generation of leaders who will contribute to the nation's defence and security, and to the society and community at large.
A-Levels
This scholarship is for young Bruneians who aspire to achieve greatness early in their MINDEF career. Selected students from the O-Level year (Secondary Five) will be invited to participate in assessments and an interview once their results are published. As this program begins very early on, this scholarship is by invitation only.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Brunei Citizen
- Possess strong interest in MINDEF or RBAF career
- Completed GCE O-Level Examination with at least 8 grade As
- Credit in Bahasa Melayu and English Language
- Excellent Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) record
- Sound personal qualities and character
- Outstanding leadership potential
